Additionally, an oven is essential. This product is thinner than a typical cast iron pan, so heat rises quickly and does not dissipate as quickly as cast iron would, making it difficult to evenly distribute heat when seasoning with a gas stove, which leads to various maintenance difficulties (as it takes a lot of time to cook). Therefore, you should have a good oven as well.
